Supporting EV Commercialization with Rebates
This webinar will examine the design and implementation of programs administered by the Center for Sustainable Energy that support markets for electric passenger cars with cash rebates. It will:
- provide an update on the increasing diversity of EV product offerings;
- compare the design and implementation of statewide EV purchase/lease rebate programs in California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York;
- overview data produced by those programs characterizing participating consumers and their vehicles; and
- discuss select program transparency & evaluation findings that provide insight into implementation & improvement.
In so doing, the webinar will provide up-to-date information on markets for electric cars, supportive policies, and sources of data that empower stakeholders to support the transition to sustainable energy.
