Sola is a second year Master of Environmental Management candidate from Shanghai, China. She is interested in green finance and clean transportation, specifically market mechanisms that can accelerate electric vehicle and low-carbon fuel deployment. Last summer, she interned at Calvert Research and Management, where she conducted Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) research for the firm’s responsible investing products.
Prior to Yale, Sola’s professional experience centered on geospatial analysis for freshwater conservation. She has helped identify key area for non-point source pollution mitigation in Qiandao Lake Watershed in China when working with The Nature Conservancy. While working for Maine Department of Environmental Protection, she also carried out spatial analyses for studying the effect of road salt on stream water quality.
Sola received her BA from Colby College in Environmental Studies - Interdisciplinary Computation.
